San Juan National Forest Trip Itinerary 

 

July 23, 2021

     - 2pm Check-in / Pickup Run Packets / set up camp

     - 3:30pm Official Meet and Greet and handout T-Shirts

     - 4:30pm Leave for 1st Run or possible pFKT on Near the End (Dirty 30)

     - 7:30pm Dinner back at camp OR eat in Silverton...possibly The Eureka Station*

 

July 24, 2021

    - 7am Leave for 2nd Run or possible pFKT on Ouray Run   

    - 12:30pm Lunch back at camp OR eat at Maggie's Kitchen*

    - Spend the rest of the day:

                       Sight seeing at Box Canyon Waterfall and Park*

                       Visit Animas Forks*

                       Tour Mayflower Gold Mill* 

    - 7pm Dinner back at camp OR eat at Colorado Boy Southwest Pub*

    - 8pm optional Trivia Night (1st place prize- knowing that you are better at Trivia than the rest of the run group)

 

July 25, 2021 (3hr drive to and from, worth an epic run)

     - 6:30am Leave for 3rd Run or possible pFKT on Handies Hardrock 100

        OR

        7am Leave for 3rd Run or possible pFKT on Hardrock 100k on the CCW (if we decide to forgo the long drive)

     - 2:30pm Picnic Lunch OR eat in Lake City at Lake City Brewing Co.*

     - On your drive, things to stop by and see:

                        Check out the views at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

                        Visit Montrose Botanic Gardens

                        Recover in/at Ouray Hot Springs

                      

July 26, 2021

     - 10am Leave for 4th and final Run or possible pFKT on Columbine Lake Trail    (make sure camp is packed up)

     - 2:30pm Lunch at Avalanche Brewing Co.*

     - 3pm Name Selected for Prize (Example: Black Diamond Distance 15 Hydration Pack)
