"It"

“It” told me that I could run inside and avoid the rain and freezing temps.... thank you for making me cautious. “It” automatically shortened my stride...thank you for keeping my footing. “It” was empowered when a Dually drove by spraying me down with frigid ground water... thank you for making my last 3 miles faster than the first 3. “It” made my nose drip with snot (gross, I know) but I blew it out to the side like a pro, reminding me of my high school coach who taught me such great technique... this made me stronger, more aware, more obligated- thank you. Amazing how our bodies act exactly as we need them to. I can’t thank “It” enough.
